Since the introduction of camera systems for endoscopic applications, Richard Wolf is a byword for high-quality medical cameras. With its "IQ technology" Richard Wolf offers excellent image optimization for its single-chip cameras. Progressive Scan technologies and "Dialogue function" with the light source extend the performance spectrum of the 3-chip cameras. The use of camera systems for endoscopic operations has become established in recent years as the gold standard in the medical environment. These cameras have many outstanding improvements. The small, ergonomic and autoclavable camera heads facilitate working without fatigue.

Our 3 chip camera 5508 is of modular construction and an investment in the future. Progressive Scan technology combined with LCD monitors increases the detail accuracy and thus also the safety in use. The new DIALOG -function controls the light source to optimum brightness and thus prevents unnecessary heating up. The CAN-Bus interface allows control of functions by voice.

EyeMax chip-on-the-tip technology sets new standards in laparoscopy with the latest generation CCD endoscopes. The image sensor, directly fitted within the distal tip of the endoscope, ensures clear and needle-sharp images. EyeMAX stands for high-tech solutions for improved handling.

Xenon light projectors
The light projectors from Richard Wolf GmbH from 180W to 300 W are especially matched to endoscopic applications and are for interdisciplinary use. Automatic light regulation optimises the luminous flux and ensures ideal light conditions.

Halogen light projectors
Our halogen light projectors are equipped with a long-life function that prolongs the life of the lamps by up to 4 times. The product range comprises 150W to 250W in the halogen range with optimised focussing for the light cable adaptation. Optical monitoring of the spare lamp ensures additional safety.

Light cable
Optimum light transmission requires optimum adaptation of light cable and endoscope. We offer light cables of 1.6 to 4.5 mm diameter of the fibre bundle. The high temperature-resistant light conducting cable, which is outstandingly suitable for transmitting high light intensities (300W xenon), has found very good acceptance. Its temperature resistance thus leads to a far longer life of the light conducting cable.
